These Chicken Buns are a family favorite. . .
2-3 cups chopped cooked chicken (I usually boil and then shred mine to cook it)
4 Tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cans crescent rolls
1 cup dried breadcrumbs
salt, peppers, and seasonings ( I use dill, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and Lawry's Seasoned Salt)
Mix together 4 tablespoons butter, cream cheese, seasonings and chicken. Unroll crescent rolls, make 4 squares per can by sealing 2 triangles together. Place 1/2 cup mixture in square. Roll up and seal. Dip in melted butter and roll in bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Eat "as is" or top with hot cream of chicken soup or chicken gravy.

ReplyDeleteHere's my fave easy dessert to take to get-togethers... I found it somewhere online: brick of cream cheese, bag mix of chocolate chip cookie dough (the dry mix) and some butter... mix it with a hand mixer and WALLAH! Chocolate chip cookie dough mix! Everyone loves it!

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites is a fruit salad. My mom always made it and my family loves it. It is simply peeled and sectionized oranges, canned crushed pineapple, sliced bananas and sugar or splenda to taste. Wonderful flavor.
